Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies tailored to the individual needs of clients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, engaging in case conferences and treatment planning sessions.

• Actively participate in workshops and ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will primarily work with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses, many of whom may have limited access to mental health resources. You will address a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, providing crucial support and guidance as they navigate their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas is mandatory.
