Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health concerns and establish clinical diagnoses.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions, as well as group and family therapy sessions, adapting methodologies to suit diverse client needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and timely support for clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being during critical situations.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and organized client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and evaluation results, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate extensively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatments, and community resources, while advocating for their rights and support needs.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices through continuing education, enhancing both personal skillsets and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Inner Wisdom, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our client population represents various cultural, socioeconomic, and age groups, emphasizing the importance of a culturally competent and individualized therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities, with a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques.

• Minimum of two years of direct experience in a counseling or therapeutic role.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective client engagement.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, coupled with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team. Benefits include:
