Position Overview

Maury Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team full-time at our Rehabilitation Center located in Lehigh Acres, Florida. The primary focus of this role is to assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans for patients facing functional limitations and disabilities. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation of clinical knowledge, along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our comprehensive Rehabilitation Center in Lehigh Acres, providing a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere. You can expect to work a 40-hour week with variable weekends as required. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to understand their conditions and develop tailored treatment plans addressing functional limitations.
• Consult regularly with healthcare providers to ensure a continuum of care for patients, taking a collaborative approach in managing treatment plans.
• Conduct patient evaluations, interpreting findings to adapt treatment and discharge plans as necessary while educating patients and their families about progress and care interventions.
• Effectively document patient treatments, ensuring all records are accurate and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Engage in leadership activities such as community outreach, marketing initiatives, cost containment strategies, and program development while supervising support staff, including PT aides and students.
• Continuously enhance your own professional skills through self-study, attendance at in-services, and participation in continuing education programs.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and communicate regularly with patients' families.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
