Position Overview

Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Lehigh Acres, Florida. In this full-time role, you will provide hands-on patient care in our modern outpatient facility, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation for our clients. Your expertise will be vital in assessing movement limitations, developing personalized therapy plans, and guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys.

Work Environment

Our clinic, located in the vibrant community of Lehigh Acres, Florida, offers a supportive and dynamic work environment. You will be working onsite in our outpatient office, surrounded by like-minded professionals who are passionate about patient care. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, with flexible start times available (8 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–5 PM, or four 10-hour shifts). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement evidence-based rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's individual needs, keeping progress notes and modifying plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physiatrists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercises, injury prevention strategies, and progress tracking.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to enhance recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population including students, active adults, and seniors recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will work closely with patients who have various movement disorders, providing compassionate care and support to help them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida PT License or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical decision-making abilities and a passion for helping others.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is preferred. Experience with specific populations such as sports rehabilitation or geriatric therapy will be advantageous as we seek to provide specialized services.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including:
