Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, allowing you to work directly with patients in their home environments. Your work schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured and predictable routine. This role not only allows for strong patient engagement but also emphasizes the importance of collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations to assess patients' conditions and establish individual goals for recovery.
• Maintain a patient load of one hour per individual to ensure dedicated, high-quality care.
• Administer tailored therapeutic interventions focused on enhancing range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Utilize EMR software such as WebPT for accurate documentation and monitoring of patient progress.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and foster healthy lifestyle changes to support their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to align on treatment plans and progress evaluations.
• Elicit patient feedback regularly to optimize personalized care and ensure alignment with their rehabilitation objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions related to orthopedic issues. This role includes working with diverse individuals, including elderly patients needing mobility assistance, athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, and adults seeking rehabilitation following medical procedures. By tailoring therapies to fit a wide range of needs, you will have a direct impact on patient outcomes and overall health improvements.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on the record.
• Proficiency in applying manual therapy techniques and designing tailored exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Demonstrated experience using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for efficient and accurate patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is desired to ensure familiarity with specific rehabilitation protocols relevant to our patient demographic.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, coupled with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your financial, health, and work-life balance goals.
