Position Overview

Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our outpatient office located in Lehigh Acres, a vibrant community known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to health and wellness. The clinic is well-equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and resources, creating a safe and productive space for patient care. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a balanced work-life schedule with weekends free.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients, identifying their physical impairments and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using evidence-based practices that are tailored to meet each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care, treatment progress, and billing activities through our electronic medical record (EMR) system, WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide coordinated patient care.
• Uphold clinical productivity standards by managing your caseload effectively while ensuring each patient receives attentive and focused treatment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinic operations and patient care quality by participating in staff development initiatives and program enhancements.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized therapeutic environment that promotes effective therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a wide client population, primarily focusing on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. You will work with individuals of all ages who are seeking to regain mobility, strength, and independence. Your role will directly contribute to improving their quality of life by guiding them through effective rehabilitation processes and supporting their personal recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida or eligibility for licensure.
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Familiarity with the WebPT EMR system or similar documentation software is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a multidisciplinary team-based approach to healthcare delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
