Work Environment

This full-time role will be performed onsite at our outpatient office in Lehigh Acres, providing a vibrant, community-oriented setting that emphasizes teamwork and patient-focused care. Your regular hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, will allow for work-life balance while delivering exceptional service to our patients. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance therapy practices, including private treatment areas and cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient needs, developing tailored treatment protocols based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Maintain an effective caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring individualized attention and high-quality care.
• Design and implement customized wellness programs to help patients achieve their fitness goals and maintain long-term health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and other health professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor treatment progress, documenting all patient interactions and adjustments to care plans using EMR systems, such as WebPT.
• Educate patients on exercises and techniques that promote self-management and prevent future injuries.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship by motivating clients throughout their treatment journey.
• Perform regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Advocate for non-surgical alternatives to enhance client recovery while emphasizing strategies that minimize dependence on medication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies focused on improving movement and functionality.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic environment, showcasing your ability to manage diverse patient cases effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
