This full-time position, which allows for a flexible remote work environment, offers an annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000. Our remote work setting promotes a flexible and collaborative approach to mental health counseling. As part of our telehealth facility, you'll engage in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary co-learning activities, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals, including medical providers, midwives, and lactation consultants, to ensure holistic care for our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage actively in clinical consultations and participate in multidisciplinary co-learning spaces to enhance service delivery and professional development.

• Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and timely to ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
\n
• Deliver direct mental health services including behavioral health assessments, therapeutic counseling, and case management specifically tailored to Black birthing families.
\n
• Collaborate with prenatal care team members such as medical providers, midwives, and doulas to provide integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.
\n
• Co-facilitate childbirth education sessions and postpartum peer support groups, working alongside birth workers to empower families during these pivotal times.
\n
• Participate in community engagement activities designed to promote holistic wellness and foster village-building among birthing individuals and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary client focus is on Black birthing families, a demographic often underserved in traditional mental health settings. We aim to provide culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges the unique challenges and experiences these families face. As a mental health counselor, you will play a vital role in addressing their mental and emotional health needs, supporting them through various stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum adjustment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in a behavioral science field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals across various disciplines.

• Demonstrated competency in direct service provision, clinical assessment, and case management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings is highly desirable; familiarity with telehealth technologies and platforms is a plus.
