Work Environment\n

Our remote work setting provides flexibility while maintaining the collaborative spirit of a close-knit team. Work hours are generally Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to engage with patients effectively, as you will be drawn into meaningful conversations that promote healing and resilience across geographical boundaries.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique experiences of each patient.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, adapting them based on each patient’s cultural context and personal preferences.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, as well as family and group therapy, designed to explore mental health concerns while fostering resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure delivery of comprehensive care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to patients in distress, employing de-escalation techniques and appropriate therapeutic support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources to support ongoing care.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions while adhering to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case discussions, and cultural competence training to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Keep abreast of current research and best practices in mental health therapy, ensuring that treatment methods are informed and applicable.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A profound understanding of mental health disorders, clinical treatment modalities, and cultural responsiveness in therapy.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions in a culturally aware manner.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to navigate challenging situations calmly and effectively.

• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse patient population.

• Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• A dedication to maintaining ethical standards, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

• Ability to work well within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, enhancing patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
