Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals and families, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to identify mental health needs and goals.

• Facilitate scheduled and drop-in group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to share and reflect.

• Develop and implement individual treatment plans based on thorough psychosocial assessments, adapting approaches to fit patients' unique backgrounds and experiences.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapeutic processes, including session notes and treatment progress, in compliance with industry standards.

• Attend weekly treatment planning meetings, contributing insights and updates on patient progress to guide team strategies for care.

• Assist patients in establishing Discharge Aftercare Plans to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
\n
• Engage actively in professional development opportunities to stay current with insights and trends in mental health care.
\n
• Exemplify cultural competence while working with a diverse patient population across various age groups, addressing their distinct psychological needs sensitively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. You will encounter a wide range of DSM diagnoses, and your work will significantly contribute to patients’ recovery journeys as they navigate mental health challenges in a supportive and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Florida as a therapist (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT).

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirements include the necessary licensing and education, experience in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, and a familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth practices and previous experience in working remotely will also be advantageous.
