Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver personalized treatment plans, including techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations, identifying client needs and tailoring strategies to achieve therapeutic goals.

• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, facilitating meaningful discussions that support mental health growth.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive client care and holistic treatment approaches.

• Maintain accurate, thorough clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure quality of care and organizational accountability.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and seminars to stay current with emerging mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base ranging from children to seniors, addressing an array of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, demonstrating effective therapeutic skills and familiarity with various treatment approaches.

• A strong foundation in legal and ethical standards within mental health counseling.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing insights and strategies to enhance client care.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and various mental health documentation software is advantageous.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.

• Previous experience working with underserved populations or in community mental health settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
\n
