This position is pivotal in supporting our patients' mental, emotional, and physical health, catering to individuals with various psychological needs. Our LPCs deliver therapeutic interventions, conduct educational sessions, and ensure compliance with both Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) standards.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with primary care practitioners to identify and manage mental health and psychosocial issues, enhancing the effectiveness of overall patient care.

• Deliver timely mental health interventions during emergencies while ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Perform regular follow-ups to monitor patient progress, evaluating treatment efficacy, and making necessary adjustments to care plans.

• Work with patients to develop relapse prevention plans and provide ongoing support as needed.

• Identify at-risk patients and contribute to the design of preventive programs catering to their unique needs.

• Oversee the coordination of mental health services, both within and outside the primary care context, ensuring all interventions align with the treatment goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and diagnostic information in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Foster open communication with primary care providers regarding patient needs and treatment progress while actively participating in collaborative treatment strategies.

• Empower patients by promoting self-management skills and providing essential educational resources to enhance their recovery journey.

• Engage in program development discussions with management to identify opportunities for improving behavioral health services and outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license is mandatory.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish fluency is encouraged to better serve our diverse patient population, although not mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of the social impacts of various mental and physical illnesses on individuals and communities.

• Familiarity with available community resources and how to navigate and utilize them effectively for patient benefit.

• Strong skills in psychodiagnostics and evidence-based psychotherapy approaches.

• Ability to evaluate individual patient requirements and adapt treatment accordingly.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Brightways Recovery Plus offers a competitive salary between $90,000 and $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes a sign-on bonus, health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.
