Work Environment\n

The position is full-time and remote, providing flexibility while maintaining regular business hours. While the majority of your work will be conducted from home, there will be occasions for in-person interactions, especially during community events or specific case-related meetings. You will work closely with students, educational staff, and families to provide the necessary support tailored to the school environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments through patient interviews, observational studies, and review of medical records to comprehensively evaluate emotional, social, and environmental factors impacting students' recovery and emotional well-being.

• Provide counseling services to students and their families, addressing significant adjustment issues and supporting their emotional health through both individual and group modalities.
\n
• Collaborate with educators and rehabilitation team members to develop and revise individualized treatment plans that consider each student's psychosocial needs.
\n
• Assist students in accessing community resources, such as mental health support groups, vocational rehabilitation, and housing assistance programs.
\n
• Offer education and ongoing support to families regarding community resources and available post-rehabilitation services to aid the transition back to a community or school setting.
\n
• Engage in discharge planning processes that facilitate seamless transitions for students returning home or moving to alternate care environments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will work primarily with students facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. This may include individuals coping with grief, anxiety, and depression, as well as those displaying adjustment issues in their academic or social environments. Your expertise will enable you to guide them towards recovery, fostering resilience and the ability to thrive both in and out of school.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
