This role allows you to work remotely while servicing a school environment in Hempstead, New York. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of students to understand their psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and consider the specific needs of each client.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailoring approaches to each student’s unique situation and preferences.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and relevant guidelines, ensuring compliance and fostering transparency in treatment processes.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, educators, and support staff to ensure cohesive care and support for students and their families.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance clinical practices and improve outcomes for clients.

• Provide relevant education and resources to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and community support options.

• Stay informed about recent research and developments in mental health to ensure practice is informed and up to date.

• Manage a full caseload of clients, ensuring timely and effective treatment progression and adherence to ethical standards as outlined by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Qualifications\n
