Position Description: The Mental Health Professional provides intensive therapeutic services to children and adolescents and their family using research and evidenced-based therapy models targeting the specific needs of the child. Services are provided in the school and office settings with the child as a participant in his/her own treatment. The Mental Health Professional develops and implements individualized treatment plans by assessing the strengths and therapeutic needs of the child and the child’s family. We are looking for both Full and Part-time employees. This position reports to the Manager of Mental Health Services under the direction of the Director of Mental Health Services. Responsibilities Provide flexible scheduling and service options for families. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of child development and childhood disorders. Assess the strengths and therapeutic needs of the child and family. Provide family-focused therapy to client/family members according to the treatment plan. Provide both face-to-face and telehealth services to clients and their families. Provide services as needed by the family-could be in-school or early evening center-based appointments. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Possess the ability to work with children/adolescents and their families in a professional and empathetic manner. Requirements: Master’s degree in a mental health field. Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, current insurance coverage and consistent access to a reliable vehicle. Mandated Reporter and Safety Care Training within 30 days of hire. Provide clearances with a clean record, free from allegations or findings related to abuse, neglect, exploitation or other criminal acts against children, i.e. Act 33, Act 34 or FBI Clearance.
