Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to provide therapeutic support from the comfort of your home while still engaging closely with a collaborative team of mental health professionals. Our center values flexibility and work-life balance, with a structured schedule that typically runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some evening shifts may be required based on patient needs, ensuring that we can cater to our clients at their most critical times.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to comprehend the unique needs and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the patient's specific circumstances.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions using techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients navigate their challenges.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and addiction specialists to provide integrated care that addresses both mental health and addiction issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, supporting them as they embark on their recovery journeys. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding them through their challenges, ensuring they have access to comprehensive care tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.

• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy in the context of addiction treatment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant documentation technology.
