Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations to identify the specific mental health needs of clients and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy, employing a variety of methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others as appropriate.

• Work alongside case managers, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals to provide integrated and coordinated care to our clients, optimizing their treatment outcomes.

• Provide timely crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, facilitating access to immediate support and resources as necessary.

• Engage in active community outreach and awareness initiatives to destigmatize mental health issues and promote the importance of seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center serves a broadly diverse patient population representing various cultural, socioeconomic, and clinical backgrounds. Clients may range from children and adolescents facing developmental challenges to adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring disorders. The Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for adapting interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is required.

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Cultural competence and sensitivity are essential to work effectively with our heterogeneous client base.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure accurate and timely case documentation and follow-ups.
