Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform detailed assessments of clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through preliminary interviews and diagnostic evaluations.

• Document and maintain comprehensive case histories, monitoring client progress from initial consultations to the conclusion of treatment.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans that effectively address the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions, providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their feelings and challenges.

• Lead group therapy sessions, fostering community and connection among participants while addressing common issues.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create holistic intervention strategies that align with the clients’ treatment goals.

• Track and assess clients’ ongoing progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to manage mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each with unique mental health concerns. Your role will include addressing various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. Your compassionate approach will help clients navigate their mental health journeys, enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as either an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida is mandatory.

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficient understanding of the latest therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices relevant to the field of mental health.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective client interaction and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Metro West Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, along with signing bonuses for qualified candidates.
