Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to effectively gauge client mental health needs and treatment readiness.

• Gather detailed patient history to inform treatment decisions, ensuring a thorough understanding of family dynamics and individual experiences.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic models such as structural family therapy, narrative therapy, and communication therapy.

• Develop, implement, and periodically revise individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each client's unique circumstances.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems to track outcomes and adjust interventions as necessary.

• Engage in psychoeducation sessions, empowering clients with knowledge and strategies to improve their relationships and mental wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including couples, families, and individuals facing relational issues, mental health challenges, or life transitions. Your expertise in relationship counseling and a variety of therapeutic modalities will help clients navigate conflicts, foster connection, and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field is required.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) recognized in the state of New Jersey.

• Certification in one or more recognized therapeutic modalities is preferred, contributing to our diverse treatment offerings.

• At least one year of post-licensure clinical experience is strongly preferred, providing a strong foundation for effective practice.
