Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that consider patients' unique social and cultural contexts, ensuring comprehensive understanding and coverage in treatment planning.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a range of mental health concerns, fostering resilience, and promoting holistic wellness.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other clinical professionals to create coordinated treatment plans and ensure comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, utilizing effective de-escalation techniques and support strategies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take active roles in their care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings, while participating in cultural competency training to continually enhance service delivery.

The therapist will provide services to a remarkably diverse clientele, primarily consisting of individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, as well as members of LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapy.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy using inclusive practices tailored to diverse patient needs.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating the capacity to establish rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
