Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setup, allowing you to effectively engage with students, faculty, and families from your home office. The standard hours for this role are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours as needed to meet clients' requirements. Being able to adapt your schedule is important to ensure consistent care and access for the student population we serve.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' psychosocial needs, accommodating emotional, mental, and social factors unique to their circumstances.

• Work collaboratively with students and their families to develop individualized care plans that reflect their specific goals, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.

• Provide individual counseling and emotional support to help students cope with life transitions and other challenges they may face.
\n
• Act as an advocate for your clients, guiding them toward appropriate community resources and support services that cater to their needs.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.

• Engage in regular follow-ups with clients to monitor their emotional health, assess living conditions, and address any potential issues influencing their well-being.

• Facilitate family meetings to improve communication and resolve conflicts, especially during transitional periods or crises.
\n
• Educate students and their families about local resources, support groups, and community programs designed to enhance social ties and overall quality of life.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation including client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and all pertinent interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Continue professional development by staying updated on current social work practices, policies, and regulations impacting the field.

This role primarily focuses on the student population within a school setting. You will work with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of two years of experience in a social work capacity, ideally within educational or community-based settings.

• In-depth knowledge of social work principles, mental health issues, child development, and educational policies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
