Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, surgeries, or medical issues directly within their homes.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans employing a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training.
• Utilize specialized equipment and innovations to enhance the effectiveness of treatment and expedite patient progress.
• Continuously document patients' treatment protocols, responses, and progress to ensure transparent communication with the healthcare team.
• Periodically reassess treatment efficacy, setting new goals and modifying plans accordingly to meet evolving patient needs.
• Assist patients with the selection, fitting, and training on assistive devices, enhancing their ability to perform self-care and rehabilitation tasks.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on pertinent therapy procedures and the proper usage of assistive modalities, empowering them in the rehabilitation process.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and networking to remain informed on the latest physical therapy techniques and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse range of patients, from children to adults, each with unique orthopedic conditions. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, and rehabilitating from traumatic injuries. Our team is experienced in establishing rapport with patients, creating a comforting atmosphere, and addressing each patient's specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a valid New Jersey State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient engagement.
• Proficiency in computer software and documentation tools vital for tracking patient progress.
• Flexibility and agility required to perform home visits and adapt to varying patient environments.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
