Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to design personalized treatment plans that promote rehabilitation and recovery.
• Implement therapeutic programs that address a wide range of orthopedic conditions, ensuring that each patient receives care tailored to their unique needs.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, demonstrating adeptness in both manual and mechanical therapies.
• Foster an environment of outstanding customer service, building trust with patients and their families to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
• Work alongside physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans and maximize patient outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient progress and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Conduct educational sessions for patients and caregivers to facilitate understanding of treatment protocols, promote adherence, and empower self-management.
• Meet established performance benchmarks, contributing to the efficiency and productivity of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will engage with patients of various age groups and backgrounds, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. This diverse caseload requires a versatile approach to treatment that accounts for patients' unique experiences and goals. Your role will play a significant part in helping them regain function, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, permitting practice in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, ideally in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect with diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency in using practice management software and electronic health records (EHR) to enhance patient care and documentation.
• Proven ability to develop strong patient relationships built on trust and empathy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized therapeutic modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and dry needling.
• Additional certifications such as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) are a plus.
• Experience in group therapy sessions or community outreach programs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our generous benefits package includes:
