Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to create and coordinate holistic mental health treatment plans for our clients, drawing from a variety of therapeutic methodologies.

• Provide mental health in-service training sessions to the medical, psychiatric, and security staff, enhancing the overall delivery of mental health care within our organization.
\n
• Actively intervene and de-escalate mental health emergencies, employing crisis management techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of all clients.

• Attend commitment hearings as necessary, advocating for the mental health needs of clients while complying with facility requirements.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic goals for patients, ensuring that each plan reflects the unique circumstances and needs of the clients.

• Accurately document all patient interactions, treatment progress, and relevant events in alignment with organizational policies and legal requirements.

• Maintain the confidentiality of patient medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and protecting each client's privacy.

• Conduct thorough reviews of past mental health history, verifying prior treatments and medications to inform current therapeutic approaches.

• Compile and prepare periodic reports and special documentation, contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with nursing and mental health staff to ensure smooth post-release referrals and ongoing support for clients.

Qualifications\n
