This position will operate within a remote outpatient framework, allowing you to deliver therapeutic services from the comfort of your home while also supporting a wide-ranging client population. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including preliminary interviews and clinical evaluations, documenting each client’s progress from initial consultation through the treatment journey.

• Devise and implement personalized treatment plans that address the mental, behavioral, and emotional health needs of individuals, couples, families, or groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based psychotherapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to enhance recovery outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including other mental health professionals, medical staff, and social workers to ensure holistic care.
\n
• Provide follow-up support to clients who have been hospitalized, coordinating care with psychiatrists and attending physicians.
\n
• Identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, providing clients with practical coping strategies to navigate challenges.

• Support family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to effectively manage mental health issues within the family unit.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a varied patient demographic encompassing individuals of all ages dealing with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and substance use challenges. The role demands a responsive approach to different needs, from addressing urgent crises to fostering long-term therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Texas.
\n
• Proof of passing scores on requisite examinations such as the NCE and/or the NCMHCE.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear articulation of clinical information and fostering effective client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years as a mental health counselor or therapist, with direct experience in client assessments and therapy.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to document and track client progress and treatment plans.

• Experience working with co-occurring physical and emotional health issues, along with a solid understanding of addiction disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with and adherence to the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, inclusive of a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.
