Work Environment

The position is located at our outpatient office in Front Royal, Virginia, which fosters a positive and supportive environment for both staff and patients alike. Operating from Monday to Friday, our team works 40-hour weekly shifts, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our facility is equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and technologies that support a wide range of therapeutic practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians to design and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual health needs and therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, to treat orthopedic injuries and improve mobility.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, engaging effectively with patients, and ensuring their comfort during treatment sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes, actively participating in case discussions and contributing ideas on care strategies.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment options, rehabilitation exercises, and strategies for at-home care to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards, tracking treatment progress and outcomes to inform future care.
• Meet performance metrics such as patient utilization goals and contribute to the overall operational objectives of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating adults with a range of orthopedic conditions. Our patient base includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will be responsible for adapting treatments to accommodate the unique needs of each patient while fostering a supportive recovery environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong organizational skills along with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and standard office software applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with populations that require rehabilitation from orthopedic surgery or sports-related injuries.
• Previous involvement in implementing evidence-based therapy programs to enhance clinical outcomes.
• Ability to build rapport with patients quickly and effectively, promoting adherence to treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
