Work Environment

Your role will be primarily onsite, delivering personalized care in home settings. The practice boasts a collaborative team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), fostering a supportive atmosphere where continuous learning is encouraged. Our home care service allows for one-on-one attention that is crucial in orthopedic rehabilitation, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments to determine individual objectives related to mobility and functional improvement.
• Design and implement customized care plans that reflect diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Manage a patient load efficiently, ensuring timely and effective treatment for one patient per hour.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, cost-effective interventions that minimize reliance on medications and surgical options.
• Track patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols based on their evolving needs.
• Document patient care comprehensively in our electronic medical record (EMR) system to maintain seamless communication with other healthcare professionals.
• Engage with patients motivationally, encouraging their active participation in physical therapy exercises to enhance their recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, referring patients to other specialists as required to optimize holistic patient care.
• Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on wellness, exercise regimens, and injury prevention practices.
• Foster a therapeutic environment that emphasizes patient empowerment and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle through improved physical capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, many of whom are covered under private medical insurance plans. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist in California.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary measures against licensure.
• Strong understanding of manual therapy techniques and exercise programming.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly in the WebPT platform or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in home health care services or similar environments is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
