Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite, providing home care services directly to patients in the Long Beach area. The work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Our environment promotes collaboration among a small team of skilled practitioners, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), cultivating a vibrant culture of support and shared learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and clarify patients' goals and needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized attention during each session.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that leverage various treatment techniques and methods.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions aimed at improving the range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Engage patients in cost-effective treatment solutions, helping them reduce reliance on medications and avoiding unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, tracking progress to refine therapy strategies effectively.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive mindset toward recovery.
• Document all aspects of patient care and treatment services diligently in compliance with established standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work directly with clients to design and implement individualized fitness and wellness plans to help achieve their specific physical rehabilitation goals. We aim to empower our patients through education and active participation in their recovery.

Qualifications

• Holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Possesses a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintains a clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrates strong proficiency in manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
• Exhibits exceptional skill in developing and executing personalized exercise protocols for diverse patient needs.
• Comfortable with EMR Software, especially WebPT, for efficient documentation and tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a focus on evidence-based approaches to therapy.
• Demonstrated ability and experience in developing tailored fitness and wellness programs.
• Strong history of collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
