Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, accommodating a flexible schedule primarily running from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather detailed patient histories and craft personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective treatment.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma experiences, building coping strategies, and promoting healing.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists, recovery coaches, and other health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and timely assistance.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and skills to navigate their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous digital records and documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations and professional development workshops focused on enhancing trauma-informed care methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will involve working with adults and adolescents who have faced significant trauma, including complex post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and dissociative disorders. Our clients seek a safe space to heal, and you will play a pivotal role in guiding them through their challenges, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-focused therapies.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the ability to implement trauma-informed care practices effectively.

• Exceptional inter-personal and communication skills, with a compassionate, empathetic approach to patient interactions.

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and a working knowledge of telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While we recognize exceptional candidates can come from diverse backgrounds, preferred qualifications also include experience working specifically with trauma-focused interventions, including but not limited to EMDR and TF-CBT. Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer an attractive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
