Work Environment\n

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, identifying symptom severity, frequency, and their overall impact on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create personalized treatment plans that target their specific mental health needs and aspirations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment interventions.

• Educate clients and families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Continuously monitor clients’ progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that encompasses all aspects of client health.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in the field of mental health, particularly regarding mood disorders, to continually enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of all client assessments, treatment approaches, and session notes, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings aimed at sharing insights and advancing clinical practices.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders to combat stigma and improve public perception of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will predominantly work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clientele ranges from adolescents to adults across various backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges and experiences that require tailored therapeutic strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active Florida licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is required.

• Proficiency in recognized evidence-based therapies like CBT and DBT, with demonstrated experience in applying these techniques effectively.

• Strong collaborative skills, with an understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare team members.

• A history of successful treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders, demonstrating a commitment to client-centered care.
