Work Environment\n

This opportunity is conducted entirely through telehealth, allowing you to provide care remotely, thereby ensuring safety and convenience for both you and your clients. Our remote work setting promotes a healthy work-life balance while allowing for a range of communication methods to effectively connect with clients. Work hours are primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, duration, and impact of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that are holistic, goal-oriented, and significantly address their unique challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients manage and overcome their mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, interpreting treatment options and recommending self-care strategies to enhance their mental well-being.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout the duration of therapy, assessing outcomes and making informed adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare providers in a multidisciplinary team to foster integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment and mental health care.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster collaborative learning and promote best practices in therapeutic approaches.

• Advocate for clients to combat stigma surrounding mental health issues and facilitate access to necessary resources and support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Your role is pivotal in guiding clients through their mental health journeys, helping them achieve stability and improved quality of life through effective therapeutic strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly those tailored to treating mood disorders like CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacological interventions to effectively communicate and coordinate care with psychiatrists.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven capacity to build rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specifically focused on mood disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
