Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Providing tailored individual and family therapy sessions, addressing unique needs and challenges.
\n
• Completing necessary administrative tasks, including billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, promptly and accurately.

• Developing comprehensive crisis plans, safety and wellness plans, and relapse prevention strategies designed to maintain stable functioning.

• Creating thoughtful and individualized discharge plans that facilitate a smooth transition for patients.
\n
• Ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, as well as adherence to NEHS policies and procedures.

• Participating in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate on patient care and share insights.
\n
• Engaging in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance your skills.
\n
• Completing all licensure requirements and mandatory trainings to ensure adherence to best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population of clients seeking mental health support through telehealth. You will engage with individuals and families who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. This role emphasizes culturally competent care and requires you to adapt your therapeutic techniques to meet each client's unique background and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field is required for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Texas (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) is essential.

Experience in telehealth therapy and familiarity with remote therapeutic tools is preferred.
