You're a PR professional with consumer brand experience and a solid foundation. You write clean pitches, keep media lists current, and track coverage without needing reminders, and the people you support know they can count on you.

Now you want to understand the thinking behind the work: why one angle fits a certain writer, how a launch plan gets built, what moves a client's business, and what to do when the first approach isn't working.

\n

You take ownership beyond your own to-do list, catch details before anyone else does, and when a pitch doesn't land, you look for another angle. You're coachable and curious; you bring ideas to the table, and you make the team around you stronger.

Position Overview \n

This position is an essential role in the day-to-day execution of multiple client accounts, working closely with Account Managers and senior leadership to keep programs organized, moving forward, and delivering against client goals. You've already got the basics down, and now you're ready to learn how the strategy behind the work comes together.

\n

You'll support day-to-day account execution, join client calls and contribute to them, help build media relationships in your categories, and see up close how account leads turn a client's business goals into a plan. You'll also begin helping Account Coordinators with the fundamentals you've mastered.

The goal is to grow from someone who executes the work well into someone who helps decide what the work should be.

Key Responsibilities \n

Client & Internal Team Support

\n

\n
• Support multiple client accounts across parenting, wellness, lifestyle, and CPG categories.
\n
• Participate in client calls, including drafting agendas, recaps, and internal notes.
\n
• Assist with brainstorming and ideation for product launches, campaigns, and creative pitch angles.
\n
• Maintain general knowledge of all agency clients, including launches and activation schedules.
\n
• Organize and maintain client trackers, timelines, and product inventories.
\n
• Support monthly and ad-hoc client reporting.
\n

Editorial & Media Excellence

\n

\n
• Build and maintain editorial contact lists.
\n
• Draft clear, compelling, and concise media pitches.
\n
• Support ongoing media outreach across consumer, lifestyle, parenting, wellness, business, and affiliate verticals.
\n
• Conduct daily media monitoring and compile press clippings.
\n
• Maintain an always-on approach to media relations with support from senior team members.
\n

Writing & Research

\n

\n
• Draft pitches, press materials, and internal documents as needed.
\n
• Support editing and proofreading of client-facing materials.
\n
• Support the creation of simple visual assets and decks (e.g., pitch support, media one-pagers, internal presentations) using tools like Canva.
\n
• Conduct research on media outlets, journalists, influencers, trends, and news cycles.
\n
• Stay informed on industry news, media trends, and cultural moments relevant to clients.
\n

The Ideal Candidate Will Have \n

\n
• 3–4+ years of PR or communications experience, including agency experience and hands-on work with consumer brands.
\n
• Placements you're proud of and can tell us the story behind: what the opportunity was, how you approached it, and how you made it happen.
\n
• Experience juggling multiple accounts, priorities, personalities, and deadlines without letting the details slip.
\n
• Strong, persuasive writing and an instinct to make the work sharper before it ever leaves your hands.
\n
• A strong eye for what feels right for a brand. You understand that how we present an idea matters, whether it's a pitch, deck, brainstorm, influencer concept, or client-facing deliverable.
\n
• The follow-through to keep things moving. You're organized, proactive, and don't need someone else to remind you what happens next.
\n
• Strategic curiosity. You want to understand the why , not just execute the task in front of you.
\n
• A love of a good brainstorm. You bring ideas to the table, build on other people's thinking, and get energized by figuring out a problem together.
\n
• A drive to make good work better. You're willing to question the first answer, rethink an angle, and keep working a problem until you get somewhere stronger.

A Few Non-Negotiables \n

\n
• Previous agency experience.
\n
• Hands-on experience working with consumer-facing brands across categories like CPG, DTC, retail, pet, parenting, wellness, beauty, home, food and beverage, or lifestyle.
\n
• Experience supporting multiple client accounts and competing priorities at once.
\n
• Proficiency with Muck Rack or a comparable media database, plus Asana and Google Workspace.
\n
• Strong research, organizational, and communication skills.
\n
• A polished, professional client presence while still knowing how to be a real human.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
\n
