As a remote mental health counselor, you will leverage virtual communication tools to conduct therapy sessions, coordinate with other healthcare professionals, and engage in continuous professional development through online workshops and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the treating therapist by scoring, interpreting, and reporting on psychometric assessments to aid in client evaluations.
• Conduct supervision sessions in collaboration with site supervisors to ensure adherence to best practices and clinical standards.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and clinical discussions that enhance teamwork and service delivery across the organization.
• Identify and leverage agency resources, services, and systems to provide clients with comprehensive care options.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new team members by guiding them through agency orientation, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare thoroughly for client sessions by reviewing case notes and performing targeted research to address specific client issues effectively.
• Engage in small group supervision or seminar preparation, including reviewing video recordings and researching pertinent clinical topics.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in both written and electronic formats, supporting effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Coordinate with partner agencies for service delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
• Conduct client consultations collaboratively with other professionals, promoting integrated care approaches.
• Document case notes, complete client assessments, and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans (ITP).

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to adults, who experience various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Your ability to establish rapport and foster trust will be paramount in guiding clients towards their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in your state (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is mandatory.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third-party resource.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Possess strong clinical skills with a track record of building relationships with clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
