Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing therapists flexibility in managing their work-life balance. You will be part of a supportive virtual team that collaborates effectively to deliver high-quality patient care. While you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule, availability will generally be required between Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate urgent patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain a holistic understanding of each patient's background and unique experiences.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect and integrate the cultural context of each patient.

• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on building rapport, encouraging open dialogue, and fostering resilience in patients.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Respond to mental health crises with immediate intervention strategies, providing support to clients during emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources, encouraging their active involvement in the care process.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings, sharing insights and learning from colleagues to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training, focusing on cultural competency to remain current with best practices in mental health therapy.

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants facing distinct mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive therapy practices, with a comprehensive understanding of diverse mental health issues.

• Strong experience in individual and group therapy settings, demonstrating the ability to apply inclusive therapeutic techniques.

• Effective crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure in challenging situations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate building rapport with a wide range of clients.

• Proficient with electronic health record systems and comfortable with technology in therapeutic settings.

• Understanding and commitment to ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n
