Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and fostering trusting therapeutic relationships, all while adhering to ethical standards and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss stability, and plan for upcoming appointments, including discharge as clinically appropriate.

• Crafting individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of clients, followed by diligent implementation and monitoring of those plans.

• Documenting client interactions, maintaining updated progress notes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant documentation standards.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to establish initial treatment goals and understand client backgrounds.

• Engaging in individual and group therapy sessions, delivering the highest quality of care to clients.

• Participating in regular supervision meetings to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback on your practice.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and effective treatment across disciplines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse population, with a strong focus on youth and families. You will engage with clients who may face a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Your role will be instrumental in providing therapeutic support that is tailored to each individual's unique circumstances and needs, thereby fostering positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical practice settings.

• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals grappling with substance abuse.

• Experience conducting assessments, developing diagnoses, and providing both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Proficiency in using technology and software for documentation and client management, including basic keyboarding and data entry skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have prior experience working with youth populations and incorporating innovative therapeutic approaches to engage clients meaningfully. Familiarity with telehealth platforms is also a benefit as we regularly utilize these tools in our practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
