Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated oncology nursing care for an assigned patient group following the nursing process and established standards of care.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, and respond to changes in condition under physician orders.
• Develop and update individualized care plans, coordinating with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other disciplines.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Document care accurately, educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, and discharge planning; utilize clinical judgment and independent decision-making.

Requirements

• Current California RN license (or eligibility to practice in California)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Oncology experience or demonstrated competency in oncology/acute care care
• Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts in an inpatient oncology setting
• Eligible for travel assignments and able to meet assignment requirements
