Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, analyzing patient histories, performing specific assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, integrating their feedback into goal-setting processes.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, adjusting strategies as necessary based on patient progress and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care, recognizing the need for adjustments in treatment plans and facilitating necessary consultations.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring continuity of care through accurate and timely documentation concerning each patient's course of rehabilitation.
• Maintain productivity standards while effectively managing a schedule and participating in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about rehabilitation services.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, demonstrating initiative in pursuing continuing education to enhance personal and organizational competency.
• Serve as a clinical instructor to students, fostering their development while also enhancing your own leadership skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and work-related injuries. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state physical therapy license in New Jersey is required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates with a background in orthopedic physical therapy will have a distinct advantage. Familiarity with specific rehabilitation techniques and modalities, as well as experience in a multidisciplinary team environment, will be beneficial.
