Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop customized treatment plans for clients based on their unique needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Document client progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, participating in regular interdisciplinary meetings.

• Engage in professional development through continuing education workshops to stay abreast of advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, often from marginalized communities with limited access to care. As an LPC at Harmony in Mental Health, you will have the opportunity to help clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse, fostering resilience and personal growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines within mental health practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse client populations.

• Experience working effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.

• Proficient with electronic medical records and related software systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
