This position will be conducted entirely through telehealth, allowing you to connect with patients in a comfortable and accessible setting. Operating Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, our remote work model provides flexibility while maintaining essential support for our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans centered on recovery, resilience, and the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals, to deliver integrated care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive timely assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team discussions, and professional development focused on advancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously enhance knowledge through staying current with advancements and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. Your expertise will support patients grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and other dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possess a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress or crisis situations.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other essential software applications.

• A strong collaborative attitude for working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
