Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through structured interviews, standardized tools, and clinical judgment.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and circumstances, including interventions for conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.

• Facilitate therapy sessions—both individual and group—by employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and adapting approaches to meet the diverse needs of patients.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, tracking their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, while providing ongoing support and resources.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to each client's care.

• Maintain up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for all client interactions, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards regarding confidentiality and data security.

• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families dealing with various mental health challenges. Clients may present with issues such as mood disorders, substance use, trauma-related conditions, as well as situational crises. Your role will involve not only therapeutic support but also empowering clients with effective coping strategies, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license in the state of New York as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling or a related field, demonstrating advanced clinical skills.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the ability to work with culturally diverse populations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building therapeutic rapport and trust.

Compensation and Benefits\n
