Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health through structured interviews, questionnaires, and review of their history to develop accurate treatment plans.

• Deliver personalized individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies to meet client needs.

• Facilitate ongoing collaboration with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals and regularly assess their progress through session feedback and standardized measures.

• Maintain a flexible schedule to offer teletherapy options, making therapy accessible for clients who may face transportation challenges or prefer virtual engagement.

• Ensure thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress updates in line with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, obtaining certifications, and participating in clinical supervision to enhance your skills and stay abreast of emerging practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Circle of Care Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse population of clients experiencing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will involve establishing rapport with clients from varied backgrounds and adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet the cultural and emotional needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A current, valid license in Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or possess a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage and motivate clients within therapeutic settings.
