Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, identifying immediate needs and long-term goals.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches, continually adjusting strategies based on client progress.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, offering coping strategies, and emotional support to help clients manage their conditions effectively.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers, like psychiatrists, to curate well-rounded care plans for clients requiring specialized services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health issues. You will engage with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, or mental health disorders exacerbated by life circumstances or developmental transitions. Your ability to connect with individuals from varied cultural backgrounds will empower you to provide culturally competent care that addresses unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling or therapy.

• Strong foundation in mental health theories, evidence-based interventions, and cultural responsiveness in therapy techniques.

• Proficient in managing crises, with the ability to de-escalate situations and make informed decisions under pressure.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and relevant digital tools.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience in various treatment modalities is essential, candidates with a background in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or family systems therapy will find their skills particularly aligned with our service philosophy. Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a $3000 sign-on bonus.
