Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, as you will be providing therapy services within clients' homes across Cape Coral and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and improving strength and mobility in clients, based on comprehensive evaluations and physician recommendations.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in executing prescribed therapy routines and ensure the quality of care by reviewing their techniques and providing constructive feedback.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical capabilities by utilizing diagnostic tests on muscle, nerve, joint, and overall functionality to create effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Evaluate clients' environments to recommend necessary adaptations that encourage independence and safety in daily living activities.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, utilizing both manual and non-manual methods, while motivating clients to engage actively in their rehabilitation process.
• Carefully document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries to maintain accurate clinical records as part of compliance and best practices.
• Communicate with clients and families about the treatment provided and educate them on how to use therapy equipment effectively to maximize recovery results.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively discuss treatment outcomes and modify plans based on ongoing patient assessments.
• Remain accessible to provide support and guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants during treatment to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Complete all required documentation and submit orders on time per organizational policies to ensure continuity of care and operational efficiency.

Your work will directly impact diverse patients in a home care setting, including those recovering from surgeries, accidents, debilitating illnesses, and age-related conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with a clear and clean standing in regulatory compliance.
• At least one year of experience in physical therapy, ideally with exposure to home care or acute care settings.
• Current CPR certification is necessary to ensure clients' safety during emergency situations.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• A proactive, positive attitude, coupled with the ability to flourish in a team-based environment while independently managing your caseload.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient care, quality clinical outcomes, and continuous professional growth.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in home healthcare or community-based rehabilitation settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
