Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, developing rapport, and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to review their progress, discuss stability, plan upcoming appointments, and facilitate discharge when appropriate.

• Creating, implementing, and monitoring person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date documentation and progress notes to ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements.

• Performing intake assessments and evaluations to determine clients’ needs and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on a youth demographic, addressing their mental health needs through both therapeutic interventions and supportive relationships. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, including those experiencing psychiatric challenges and substance abuse issues. Your expertise will help in navigating complex scenarios, aiding clients in achieving stabilization and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in mental health or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.

• Demonstrated ability to meet internal credentialing requirements and compliance in various clinical settings.

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Experience in assessment, diagnosis, and providing individual and group therapy.

• Proficiency in using computers and basic electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience\n
