This position offers a remote work setting, which allows for flexibility while being anchored in a school environment focused on early intervention services. You will primarily engage with families and children, developing strategies to enhance the child's development and acting as a vital member of a supportive team. By collaborating with educational professionals and families, you will help in the implementation of individualized support strategies within the children's natural learning environments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the developmental needs of children.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), working alongside families to support their child's growth.

• Monitor outcomes and adapt strategies based on ongoing assessments and family feedback.
\n
• Provide emotional and practical support to families, helping them understand the developmental milestones and challenging behaviors of their children.

• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations pertaining to early intervention services and child welfare.

• Establish rapport with children, families, and multidisciplinary team members to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to recommend strategies that promote developmental learning in natural settings.

• Provide families with resources and skills to enhance their child's development, utilizing a coaching model and natural environment teaching.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of services provided, ensuring all records are kept in accordance with organizational policies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in social work and early intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on children from birth to three years old who may face developmental delays or disabilities. You will work closely with infants and toddlers, collaborating with their families to identify needs and implement educational strategies. The emphasis will be on enhancing their physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your work will directly impact their early developmental trajectory, leading to better long-term outcomes and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.

• Must possess a valid LICSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.

• At least one year of proven experience working with children in an early intervention context.
