Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive clinical assessments, tailoring approaches to meet each student’s unique needs.

• Regularly monitor client progress through follow-up assessments, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
\n
• Engage actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings, collaborating with educators, school nurses, and psychologists to formulate a cohesive treatment strategy that benefits students.

• Provide direct support to students through counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help them navigate emotional and social challenges.
\n
• Facilitate workshops or group therapy sessions aimed at promoting mental health awareness and coping strategies among students and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on school-aged children and adolescents with various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will work to empower students by providing them with tools and strategies to cope with their circumstances, promoting resilience and enhancing their ability to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active LICSW license in the state of Washington.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Two or more years of professional experience in a clinical setting, particularly within school or youth-focused environments.
\n
• Strong verbal communication skills to successfully counsel and advise students and their families.
\n
• Demonstrated abilities in analytical thinking and problem-solving to develop effective, individualized treatment approaches.

• Coaching and motivational skills to encourage students toward positive behavioral changes.
