Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions, formulating treatment plans based on their unique needs and goals.

• Deliver psychotherapy services using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Engage with clients through virtual counseling sessions, providing ongoing support, encouragement, and guidance.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive support for students.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in our electronic health records (EHR) system.

• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with practices in clinical social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on working with clients aged 18 and over, particularly individuals from diverse and minority populations. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of and a commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community and men's mental health issues, though such experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license valid in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience is required.

• Professional malpractice insurance is a must.
\n
• Previous experience providing psychotherapy to adult clients and familiarity with treatment of mental health issues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Psychodynamic Therapy techniques.

• Knowledge of and experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community is favored but not mandatory.

• Prior experience addressing men’s mental health significantly beneficial for creating inclusive treatment plans.

• Experience with therapeutic interventions in a school or educational setting is valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
