Work Environment

This position allows for an onsite work setting, as our Physical Therapist will be providing care within clients' homes across Boca Grande. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment to prevent disabilities, relieve pain, and enhance muscle function while adhering to the personalized treatment plan.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure high standards in the implementation of care plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels through diagnostic tests to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Assess the home environment and make recommendations to support the rehabilitation and independence of clients.
• Implement prescribed physical therapy services alongside medical directives from physicians, ensuring personalized therapeutic experiences.
• Perform manual therapeutic exercises and guide clients through non-manual exercises and functional activities to maximize their rehabilitation potential.
• Administer treatments such as traction and massage, utilizing physical agents in a safe and effective manner.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices as necessary and communicate any modifications to the physician.
• Engage in the development and periodic review of care plans, ensuring they remain relevant to client needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes that align with compliance standards.
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.
• Provide education to clients and their families on physical therapy techniques and the use of therapy equipment.
• Complete other assignments as required to achieve organizational goals, fostering a proactive work environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist at Refined Body Therapy Services will focus on a diverse population of clients requiring rehabilitation services in their homes. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; candidates with advanced degrees such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) will be preferred.
• At least one year of experience in physical therapy, preferably in an acute care or home care setting.
• Current PT licensure in good standing within the state of Florida.
• Active CPR certification to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and personalized patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and support clients and their families effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
