Position: 2026-27 AY Lecturer Pool – Child and Family Studies. Job type: Part‑time, Temporary/Lecturer. Location: Los Angeles, California. Department: Child and Family Studies, College of Health and Human Services, California State University, Los Angeles. Minimum Qualifications Appropriate degree from an accredited university: bachelor’s degree and substantial teaching experience for lower‑division courses; master’s degree for upper‑division undergraduate courses; doctoral degree, or master’s degree plus substantial teaching experience for graduate courses. Demonstrated excellence in teaching at a college level. Proficiency in written and oral use of the English language. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment. Relevant work experience and training. Doctoral or terminal degree. Duties Instruct assigned courses. Prepare class materials, lead instruction, and grade assignments. Hold office hours and provide academic support to students. Other departmental duties as assigned. Salary Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Lecturer A: $5,507–$6,677 per month. Lecturer B: $6,221–$13,224 per month. Lecturer C: $6,825–$14,523 per month. Lecturer D: $8,593–$15,211 per month.
